A nice book written from the perspective of Amina a Pakistani American who loves to sing and play the piano but feels nervous singing in public. The story was nice and fast-paced. I really loved the community and how all people from different backgrounds and religions came together!!! It's a very good book ad that her uncle realizes that America is great too for Muslims. I resonated a bit with it as well!!!
What a lovely book about growing up and finding your place and your voice! I love the people around Amina and the way they support her.
I'm a sucker for a heartwarming story about friendship and this one delivers! Bonus points for a community coming together in the cutest way after a horrible hate crime. Loved it.
