I feel really conflicted about my feelings for this book. I liked the creepy factor. I liked the ghost hunting. I liked the ghosts. I did not like the ghost/human love story aspect. It made me feel really awkward and uncomfortable. It's just not my thing I guess? I don't know what I was expecting out of this book, but a romance between Anna and Cas was not it. I also didn't really find the characters THAT enjoyable. Like they were okay I guess, but the book just wasn't really for me. When I first started this book I was unaware that it was supposed to be a duology, but I really don't have any desire to continue on after this one. I read reviews for the second book, which I don't even remember the name of, and I just don't want to spend my time reading it. I don't have the desire to read it, and spend my time on it. So I'm not going to. My journey with Anna, Cas, Thomas, and Carmel is done. I'm fine with the way this one ended.
