This of course suffers from the same pitfalls as other modern-day twitter-Esque poetry does. I enjoyed and appreciated the added artistic elements which made it feel more substantial than other poetry in this category.
Reading this felt like someone methodically cutting me away from my body (affectionate)!!!!!! This made me feel emotions that I STILL can't process, and I technically finished this last night!!!!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!
‘If you were only meant to be beautiful, we wouldn't have put you down here in the dirt.' I loved every second of this.
When I first began this I thought it was going to be 5 stars, a new favorite. But as it progressed, I really didn't like the “poet” parts. They were quite basic modern poetry and didn't bring anything new or interesting that I hadn't seen before. But the Aphrodite sections were so off-the-wall phenomenal that it somewhat made up for it.
