This was just an OK read for me.

I found Cole to be a little too OTT assholish most of the time. Oh he had his moments (mostly with Rose) but I just kept thinking that if he would have just dialed the asshole down a couple notches he wouldn't have had so many problems with his team, league, coaches.

Piper was an OK heroine, but I thought their back and forth arguing went on a tad bit too long, and I hated the way she let her dad treat her and her daughter. On top of those issues it seemed to drag a bit. We could have done without the WAY too long football explanation between Cole and Piper.

Like i said, just an OK read...
