Brothers Pat and Coop have just been reunited after a narrow escape from a cult-like community living beneath the streets of New York City. Now they are on the run -above ground, this time - with their new companion and fellow escapee, Kate. Certain that they are being followed, the three struggle to stay one step ahead of their trackers while searching for answers about Kate's mysterious past. But have these brothers found each other again only to spend the rest of their lives as fugitives? Or will they ever be able to return home?

Between Con and Vanessa's back stories/childhood, a twist i wasn't expecting and how awesomely honest they were with each other, this was a great read. And I really hope Lucas Titan has his own book. Because his name alone had me like yes, please and thank you.
I'm glad I read Beneath and Above. They were a lot of fun and suspenseful without over-doing it. I cared about the characters, and I think I would like to meet Coop. Yes, I am sure I would.
