Berenstain Bears, faith gets us through

We love the Berenstain Bears especially the Living Lights ones for the I Can Read Level 1 early readers and while I love them weaving in a Christian message I'm a little off on this one. Faith is important and will “get you through” but I think it is a little odd in this one where it seems like they just ignored safety issues and said basically God has got our back so it's okay to do dangerous things without a worry.
