Delightful story about a lobster boat with an enemies-to-lovers angle. On one hand we have a young man who really wants his chance to become a lobsterman and is hoping to buy the business when Whitaker retires. However, Whitaker has an only child, a daughter who has never expressed interest in the business—until she hears Oliver wants it! Anyone but Oliver!—She'll take the business and figure out lobstering. Seasickness or not!
Meg is definitely plucky and it's no surprise to the reader when her father decides to ask the two of them to work together over the season before he makes his final decision. After all, she needs to know about the business and how it works before her father will consent to give it to her.
I really enjoyed the story and the little subplots in the book as well.
18+ for a lot of flirty thoughts. They spend a night alone together on the boat although the third employee could walk in at any time; nothing physical happens. Otherwise nothing objectionable.
