Black Boy Smile: A Memoir in Moments

I absolutely loved the book. This is the first book I've read by D. Watkins, and It won't be the last. I'm an 80s baby who was born and raised on the SouthSide of Chicago. It's refreshing and of course sad to read when someone goes through the reoccurring trauma that comes with that world. I'm glad that you/we survived.
