Blasphemy

On the whole I enjoyed the book and was surprised a few times by the plot turns. But I was taken out of the story because I thought the reactions of some groups in the book was unlikely.
Also, I'm pretty sure an actual giant particle collider would need more people to run it and would be engineered better. But the descriptions of the mesa and the details of the plot made up for that.
