Blood, Metal, Bone

I will start by saying this book has potential - a lot of it. It mixes genres and has a cool plot. That said, I just didn't love it. I've read a few books recently that have mixed genres, but while this one did the same thing, it fell short in its execution. The characters, as wonderful as they were, only scratched the surface of what could be some really awesome characters if they'd been delved deeper into. So - yes- there is potential, and by god that cover is gorgeous, but it feels like it could've used a few more drafts that went deeper into everything and tided up the genre-mixing to feel successful.
