Most books I have really loved have always had one of the two ingredients. A great plot/storyline that keeps me hooked or a great lead protagonist who lives by his/her ideals. Some books manage to combine both these superbly thus earning their place in my favorites list. Blood Skies does neither. The story line has been done plenty of time before and the protagonist is pretty docile. But why I still like the book is the way Montano writes. Some shares of Mr.King but he minor shades. The concept of The Black may have been done before but its the resulting world that he creates so matter of factly that keeps you going. Its truly dark and grisly and a true horror graphic novel come alive. Three words for this one? Give me more!
