4.5 stars. I'm really invested in this story so far. There's something so satisfying about seeing someone with a lot of potential hone in on their craft and rise up the ranks—obviously that hasn't happened yet since this is just the first volume, but we're steadily getting there.
I'm really rooting for the main character, but I think I still need to read the next couple of volumes to become invested in the side characters as well (though I'm really intrigued by Bachira).
