So this definitely wasn't as good as the first book, if you're looking for something similar to that, this isn't it.
It was more light-hearted, funny, emotional in some ways. I found this was messier, though. It was very repetitive with ‘youre mine, forever, you're it' and also the fact that Brendon is a foodie, him constantly demanding for food, a little too much, in my opinion.
I love the characters but this was a case of them bleeding into each other for me. I feel like they had pretty distinguished characters when we started but they started sounding really similar at the end, I had to constantly check whose perspective I was reading.
A few plot lines, especially with Nikki I was really wondering where it was headed. It just went nowhere.
I did enjoy other parts of this, i just wanted more.
I have a feeling the next book is going to be about Carp and Nick, I can't wait for that
