Born of Legend

Born of Legend

So a while back, I started reading this book...and I haven't been able to finish it. For some reason, I'm just not “clicking” with this book. Normally, I drool and chomp at the bit to read one of Sherrilyn Kenyon's new releases. However, I oddly find this one somewhat redundant. I even did the unthinkable-I skimmed forward. Honestly, I was looking for one thing specifically...I wanted to see Nykyrian witness how much Julian has changed. Despite going all the way to around the 600s of the hardcover edition, I've only seen a few encounters between Nykyrian and his brother. In one of them, Nykyrian doesn't even recognize Julian! ASKDJFHALKSJDHGAKSDJHG this is all I ask for .-. I mean, Julian has already gotten together with Ushara before even 50% of the book. So the rest is just filler at this point. Plus, there's one release for every one of Kenyon's series each year in addition to there already being so many characters in each series already; I've forgotten a lot of people's names and their stories, sadly. -sigh- I'm pretty certain I'll finish this book someday...just so I can continue on with the series. However, that may be later rather than sooner.
