Umm... well that ending was something alright. Plot-holey and rushed as hell but interesting? I'm thinking this review might be a bit harsh. So the book started out as a really action packed adventure type story which I enjoyed. Robots are a new theme to me and I was really intrigued by how they came to know their true identities. However the revelations and the extreme violence surrounding them quickly got old. On the topic of violence towards the characters, there was so much of it and so extreme that bordered on unnecessary and senseless. It seemed like the author just decided to throw everything into the pot. Like I said in one of my updates - anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. It honestly left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
Around page 300, I started zoning out real bad like I just didn't care. I spent much of the last part of the book asking “who?” “what?” “who's pov is this?!” and “what happened to those other characters that were introduced earlier?”. Due how opened ended it is, I'm assuming there will be a sequel and since I came out this book with no attachment to any of the characters, adverse to the violence, and confused over the plot and general writing style of the book, I think I'll skip it.
