Another light, easy read. I liked watching Colin and Penelope change, but I don't quite buy how it all happens... I'll be interested in seeing how they work things for the next series of the show, because there are some big differences now. That second epilogue was fun. On to Eloise I suppose.
Another “okay” installment in the series. Colin was frustrating. His best quality was that he didn't fight his feelings for our heroine (almost ever) so that was pleasant.
The side story was long and there was a lot of complaining done to Penelope, who I would argue had the most to complain about. Lots of fighting and “he bit out” language which wasn't super fun.
I just do not have the time and mental energy to really sink into a big sprawling epic while I have a small baby, so this is definitely the time for romance novels in my life. This fourth entry in the series was much much better than the third, which I hated, but never really went anywhere besides “pleasantly diverting”.
