Broken

Trigger Warning: Conversion Therapy is talked about in-depth.
Colette Davison put me through the ringer in Broken (978-1797084831, 2019) and I want to go back. Kudos to Davison.

Michael and Jag both come to their relationship with their own pain and yet they still find each other. Davison does not shy away from Jag's experience. Nor does Davison give us a cookie-cutter ending for which I am happy and grateful for as that is not real life. I would have wanted a better ending for Jag, but let's face it when someone is coming up against someone who believes in conversion therapy it is not like they are going to change their opinions on homosexuality overnight.

Davison does give us a quality relationship between Michael and Jag. They have all of the hang-ups that we do (well I do (laugh)). I love them and I loved everyone at the club. This was actually the second book in a row that I read about pole-dancing and now I really want to try it.

I cannot wait to read the next book in the series...and as I was setting up the layout for this book I saw that there is a prequel. I am so psyched. Adding Davison to my must read author list and you should too.
