3 stars Eh, i'm conflicted about this book. I wanted to like this book. I liked the story (or the idea of it), but at some point it was just ‘too much'. The book started out very promising, but a couple of chapters in and I was bored. The plot took a weird turn (I was in for witches, not all the other cliché creatures you can imagine) and the characters were inconsistent; where were Alex and Rose's personalities? The writing wasn't as good as in the first one. I'm hoping this was just a case of second book in the series syndrome and that the next one will be better because I really like Rose and I can't wait to see what happens to her when she goes into the kingdom of Adas.And the ending -__- Really?Also, Rishi was barely in this book and Nova, ♥.
