Burdens We Carry

Loved catching back up with Miller & Livy and a perfect ending to this incredible series! Such an amazing ending, everyone coming together and them finding that they have a whole lot more family than they ever expected ;-) Gracie, William... and Nan of course, who holds a special place in my heart.. Her sass and comments remind me of my own Grandmother, whom I lost many years ago.

This was just.....fine. I have no issues with it, but I wonder if novellas are just not the thing for me. I enjoy the story, the characters and the romance but always want more but that's really just down to how short novellas are. Whilst I don't necessarily need a slow burn (I can take or leave them), I do need to see the build up to a romance and how they lay a foundation to their relationship, and although a smutty novella is fun, it's never going to give me that.

Glad to have read them but also glad they're on KU.
