This was my first time reading a book by Lynda and I can't say that I was disappointed! It was a thoroughly enjoyable read and I loved Jack and Maggie's characters! I loved the complexity of Jack's character and how Maggie was there with her no nonsense attitude to get him back on the right track (not that he was fully off track, but she was always there to remind him about what's important and what's not, etc).
This was only the first book with Jack's character in it and after reading this one I can't wait to read more about his adventures!
Excellent book and would highly recommend it to others!
