When professional football player, Camden Harris injures his knee at a match, he is rushed to the hospital where he meets Indie Porter, a distraction he desperately needs. He's going to undergo a new surgery that will have him back on the pitch in no time, a procedure that Indie is very familiar with. Doctor Indie Porter is the youngest person in her field and she'll do what it takes to prove herself, which includes not fraternising with a patient, but what happens when Camden turns on his charm and the chemistry cannot be denied?

Amy Daws knows how to write a fun, captivating story. Her characters are endearing, and cocky, and sassy. I just love them and the world they live in. The emotional moments and there are a few really give the book a little flavour, and it off-sets the humour. It's the perfect balance.

I have to say that I really loved this book and if I had listened to this book first, I'd probably have rated it 5 stars, but since I'm doing this backward way on, and I've already listened to Keeper, which I adored so much. I'd stay it's a solid 4 stars, I just feel that both the characters, the writing, and the narration have progressed. I have to applaud Amy on her audiobook cover, not only does she include the narrators names but also the type of narrations, I wish more authors did this.

Camden Harris is a charming, cocky, sweet man. I loved him. He has the best family, the way they are is crazy yet endearing. I loved it. He was also infuriating, I just wanted him to stop jumping to conclusions and talk to Indie, but then, I suppose it wouldn't have made for an interesting story lol. Although Cam is a cocky sod, he really has a sweet vulnerability about him that was endearing. I loved the relationship between Cam and Tanner, that was showcased really well, and I look forward to Tanner's story.
Indie Porter is a sweet and sassy woman, she's spent her life being kept at arm's length with her family and never really having any physical contact, so it's no wonder she is unsure what to do with Cam's affection or her feelings. I really liked her and thought she was the type of girl you'd want to be friends with. I liked that we got to see her friendship with Belle and how they interact and play off each other.

I liked the progression of the story and their relationship, it was fast but made sense. The conflict they experienced was almost entirely through miscommunication, which normally drives me crazy, but it made perfect sense to their story that I couldn't get mad at them for it. The sex was smoking hot and played a vital role in the story and wasn't done just for the sake of it. There is a scene towards the end when Indie finally lets herself have what she wants, and it was really beautiful to experience, especially knowing her backstory. They are such a cute couple that was made to be together.

This duet narration was brilliant. Martin Foster was fantastic as Dr. Prichard, he really delivered the smarmy doctor routine perfectly and it brought another level to the narration. Will M. Watt and Charlotte Cole were both fabulous, bringing these characters to life and using different tones and inflections for different characters and emotions. There was one scene in the hospital between Cam and his dad and I wasn't sure whether to curse Amy or Will, it was an emotional moment and the delivery was so perfect, I had tears in my eyes... on a bus! The production was great with only one tiny issue, a line repeats in chapter 10, but it is barely noticeable.
