Chaos Rising

This came out before the first book but I do NOT recommend reading this first. Sure it gives a nice look at what the author is capable of but you get so much more satisfaction from reading this after book 1 because it follows one of the main characters in that book at the beginning of the EMP Apocalypse, who seems kind of mysterious in book 1.

I hope book 2 is as good as this because this one was a lot of fun and kind opens your eyes at just how bad life would be if we got hit with an EMP
