I really appreciate the approachable way this is written. He did a good job of making the Old Testament stories modern. I think it is still too easy as a Christian to feel like all those sinful things are ‘their' issues and so then Charis becomes a mental exercise instead of a real actual thing that changes lives. Sprinkle makes a valiant effort to force us to see the people in our modern society who fit these Old Testament people. It did connect with me in a new way, so I appreciate the effort.
