He is offered a position in a new store and instead of speaking with Kuro, he asks advice from a coworker on how to turn down the offer. Kuro doesn't like that Adachi didn't ask him about it since they're a couple. He was angry and jealous, and Adachi froze, unable to voice anything. He writes a letter to Kuro after getting advice from Tsuge, who encourages him to speak with Kuro about his feelings since he doesn't have magic like them.

Kuro travels to see him, and Adachi wants to show him his feelings and actually has sex with him. I wasn't expecting that so soon in their relationship. Guess the magic is gone now?
