Holly Wood is distracted and driving home after a long day of work, and drives into a snow bank. Hours later she awakens to a woman, who says she is Mrs. Claus, attempting to help her. With the snow falling and nowhere else to go Holly accepts Mrs. Claus' assistance and ends up in Candy Cane Hollow. However, the day after they make it back to Claus Cottage...

With Santa and the elves busy preparing for Christmas it's up to Holly to investigate and save the holiday season. Oh my Christmas heaven! What an absolutely darling cozy mystery!! This has everything Christmassy and more! I love, love, love the setting and the names of the people and places. I also adore that Nick is Santa-in-training to take over for his dad. What a perfect Christmas read!
