Como agua para chocolate

My library had this in Spanish and I have been meaning to read books in the language they were originally published in, so I went for it.

The movie was very true to the book and the book felt ethereal. The story envelopes you in a mystical haze until the very end. I loved it as a kid and continue to love the story as an adult.

I also want to make it clear... I love this book mostly for everything other than the romance.
