Confetti is a fairly short poetry book. I started reading it on a Tuesday afternoon and finished it within an hour. I really loved the simplicity of the poems in this book. They are very poetic and carry a lot of emotion along with them. The graphics that were added from time to time really add to the poems and bring them to life a bit.

Some of my favorite poems were: “Wilderness”, “Who am I”, “What I need” and “Dear Mr Anxiety”.

The poem I connected with most was “Dear Mr Anxiety”. I recognised myself in it, which I love when reading poetry.

I couldn't personally connect with a lot of poems, which is why I give Confetti 3 stars. Nevertheless I did enjoy reading this book. It gave me a sort of peace.

Thank you to the author Zuzanna Szostak for the review copy. This did not affect my opinion in any way.
