I love learning more about the antiques business. I love the history behind there objects. The solution to the mystery was not too difficult to figure out, but the reasoning was a bit shocking. It is good for a mystery novel to shock you a bit. Josie, her staff, Max, and even Chief Alvarez are likeable characters. A lovely little mystery novel.
My only complaint is that Josie quotes some magical piece of advice from her parents every few pages. It does get a bit annoying. Not enough to detract from the story, but enough to make me roll my eyes.
I will be reading more of Josie Prescott soon.
