Now, let’s talk about her betrothed, Theophilus. Ash can’t stand him (and honestly, I can’t blame her). When a troll attacks during a fateful ride, Theophilus abandons her, leaving Ash to face danger alone. Enter Cypress—a swoon-worthy fae who jumps in to save her life! ✨💖 Their connection is instant and electric, and enchanting.
Ash’s decision to run away with Cypress instead of marrying Theo felt so freeing, and their journey together is filled with moments that tugged at my heart. But brace yourselves, because this story doesn’t wrap everything up neatly. While it’s sprinkled with humor and adventure, it takes a bittersweet turn that left me in tears.
