Layla and Cash loathe romance. But they can fake it for a week, right?

Cash needs to salvage his reputation, fast. So he has no option but to agree to his PR team's ludicrous proposal: enter a Valentine's Day competition to be part of the country's Most Romantic Couple and raise money for charity. There's one problem. He doesn't have a girlfriend. Layla, Cash's gardener, thinks he's crazy when he asks her to fake date him for a week. But Cash makes her an offer she can't refuse and she finds herself in front of the cameras alongside a fellow cynic. No problem. They hate romance so this should be a cinch. But what happens when faking it turns to making it? More precisely, making out? This romantic comedy will put a smile on your face. (Previously published as Romance for Cynics by Nicola Marsh and Harlequin Enterprises.)

Short, Fun, And Little Drama. This is one of those romance tales that is great for someone who wants a mostly lighter-side tale with just enough actual drama and backstory to make things interesting without overly weighing the tale down. Throw in some reality-show type antics, and you've got a solid formula for an easy vacation/ by the fire read for those times when maybe you don't have the time or energy to invest in a tome, but you just want or need something a bit on the lighter and shorter side. Very much recommended.
