How has this book got a 3.87 star rating???

This book is everything. It has made me cry on two occasions and the banter between Gemma and Elliot is everything. All of this was worth it and the happy ending...

Come on, this book has pretty much ruined all of my senses.

Re-read 1:
The rating has gone further down, what is going on?

This book seems even better than before, I can learn to appreciate it more knowing more about the other characters like Foxglove, Amelie and Nyxia. I'm shocked I didn't remember Nyxia at all, especially with her being a part of Ember's story. I genuinely feel so bad but I appreciate the book more in turn.
