THE AUDIOBOOK MADE THIS ENTIRE BOOK FOR ME. I felt like I was THERE. I felt the pain, and the sadness that these characters felt and it was SO GOOD. I wasn't feeling it at first, but I really ended up adoring this book and getting roped into the characters and their lives. It wasn't as good as The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, but I was impressed that Taylor Jenkins Reid was able to pull off something that made me feel so invested as her follow up to the masterpiece of Evelyn.
