This was my first time reading a book by Fern Britton and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I loved how the story was written from the perspectives of women from the same family across 4 different generations!

It was interesting because it allowed you to see the problems women faced throughout history and how it lead to them having to keep secrets, but also how it allowed them to become stronger for it.

The intrigue around the family secrets made for an interesting read.

There were some questions left unanswered, so maybe there could be a sequel to help answer those.

Thank you to Pigeonhole and Fern Britton for a great read!
