Dead as a Door Knocker

I love Whitney and her family! Her ambition, determination, and hard work set her apart from other cozy sleuths. The suspects in this one are realistic in their anger and avarice. I liked the way Detective Flynn tried to keep Whitney out of his investigation. And the house feel very special. Wonderful book 1!
