Dead Beat

Short Review: This is a series I return to once or twice a year when I want some good fluff. I accidentally skipped a book so I felt like I was missing something (and was). But still didn't have much of a problem following along. This one is about a group of necromancers that are coming to chicago to get an object of power and to turn themselves into Gods. At the same time vampires are taking out the wizards and Dresden is blackmailed into going after that object of power to keep someone alive. The thread through the series is going someplace in this book and the series I think is going to turn a bit darker.

I need to go back and read the last book to see if I really missed anything. Scribd now has these on audiobook so there is no reason for me to not pick up a couple more over the summer.
