I remember that I really enjoyed reading [b:Fatal Judgment: A Novel 8125734 Fatal Judgment (Guardians of Justice, #1) Irene Hannon https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1441053397l/8125734.SY75.jpg 12921400], the first book in the Guardians of Justice Series and was looking forward to this one. Overall this plot was a bit macabre for my taste, just too much. I was nervous and uncomfortable and completely creeped out. Yet I hear that a creep out factor is a good thing in suspense. Anyway, I wanted to stop, but I had to keep going to know what would happen in the end. It is interesting to me how I can watch television shows with similar situations, but reading them in a book going at the pace that I can find the time to dive in the logos is another matter. [a:Irene Hannon 97710 Irene Hannon https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1316027272p2/97710.jpg] is masterful with a pen and writes a good and catching story. I was captivated from the very beginning. I love characters and I despised the ones that were meant to be despised, but at the same time (thanks to [a:Mary Connealy 58306 Mary Connealy https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1361308956p2/58306.jpg]) I also often find myself looking for redemption in the evil characters. While not my favorite genre, Irene definitely kept the pages turning and I will look for more from her in the future.
