I received this E-arc from Netgalley in return for my honest opinion.
I keep thinking about this series. I really enjoyed the series in general. This was not my favorite from the series, but I really enjoyed seeing all the characters from the previous books.
Death is one of my favorite ‘myths' to call it that way. I enjoyed seeing him as a character and him caring for Lazarus. Her banter with Death trough the book and them hunting and trying to kill each other was chefs kiss. Also, her taking care of Ben and doing everything for him was also a nice surprise. Truly an enjoyable end to this series, definitely one of the best series I've read so far this year.
This was my favorite one of the series, I really enjoyed having all 4 horsemen interact!
Lazarus was a great rival for Death/Thanatos, and I really liked how he was portrayed. The banter between the 2 of them was great, and I loved each time Death experienced something new. Even though this series has a lot of death, it felt like experiencing life through all 4 horsemen and I loved that! Would definitely recommend.
This was absolutely wonderful. I read this very slowly because I wanted to savor the end of the series, but it may have been my favorite of them all. I adored Thanatos as a character, especially the utmost respect and adoration he held for the sanctity of life and death, and the pain he carried his burdensome task with. I'm a sucker for a Deep Sad Boi™️ and that's Thanatos, through and through.
Likewise, Laz is perhaps my favorite of the women, with her softness and endless ability to love and forgive. There's something about her that drew me in (let's be honest, maybe it's her fierce maternal instincts) and didn't let me go.
Full review coming soon for the entire series, but I'll go ahead and let you in on this tidbit: Laura Thalassa has won my whole heart as a reader and I'm already desperately craving diving into another of her worlds. ♥
