Death by Darjeeling by Laura Childs

When a man is poisoned by tea, Theo is the prime suspect. Now she has to prove her innocence and track down the real killer-before someone else takes their last sip. Just the right blend of cozy fun and clever plotting.

I didn't bother finishing it. It was poorly written, as if the publisher said “Let's corner the tea drinker/mystery market” and picked the nearest person to write. It didn't flow. I will avoid any other themed mysteries like this because they're probably all as poorly written.

This is a cute book and Theodosia Browning is a cute character. I like the Charleston setting, and I like that the story revolves around a tea shop. There was nothing amazing about the mystery or the characters, but it was a fun, light read. I may continue this series in the far future, but not just yet.
