My wedding day is supposed to be the best day of my life, finally marrying my childhood sweetheart. I should be overcome with joy, filled with excitement, but all I feel is obligation. I’ve existed without really living and now my time is coming to an end.

My death is here, and it’s not taking no for an answer, no matter how much I beg. All I wanted was to be loved, to belong, and now it looks like I’ll have none of those things.

A deal is made giving me a second chance, and I’m determined not to waste it. Even if my dark guardian Angel turns out to be a monster in disguise.
