To be clear to anyone tempted by this: this is more poetry than prose; stuff happens in Orcadian. It is maybe be beautifully written, but the story-telling is not very compelling.
Also, I don't think this translates well to the ebook format. I'm guessing that, in the paperback version, the Orcadian and the translation are side-by-side, however in the kindle version, the translation follows the Orcadian. This makes it very frustrating to read (unless you are already well-versed in Orcadian) as you spend most of the time jumping back and forth. In the end I just kept skipping over all the Orcadian to get to the English translations, which kind of defeats the point.
So, marks for effort - the world is a better place with this book in it - however you have to be very committed to get to the end.
