A hilariously fresh and romantic send-up to You’ve Got Mail about a gamer girl with a secret identity and the online bestie she’s never met IRL until she unwittingly transfers to his school, from the bestselling author of Dial A for Aunties, The Obsession, and Well, That Was Unexpected. Seventeen-year-old Kiki Siregar is a fabulous gamer girl with confidence to boot. She can’t help but be totally herself… except when she’s online. Her secret? She plays anonymously as a guy to avoid harassment from other male players. Even her online best friend—a cinnamon roll of a teen boy who plays under the username Sourdawg—doesn’t know her true identity. Which is fine, because Kiki doesn’t know his real name either, and it’s not like they’re ever going to cross paths IRL. Until she transfers to an elite private school for her senior year and discovers that Sourdawg goes there, too. But who is he? How will he react when he finds out Kiki’s secret? And what happens when Kiki realizes she’s falling for her online BFF?

ok first of all lol at this having the same title as a Rachel Hollis book [b:Didn't See That Coming: Putting Life Back Together When Your World Falls Apart 54710894 Didn't See That Coming Putting Life Back Together When Your World Falls Apart Rachel Hollis https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1595906158l/54710894.SX50.jpg 85358569]. second of all I liked it more than the Hollis book for sure! Third of all I got this off NetGalley bc the description sounded cute but I didn't realize it was #2 in a series? ([b:Well, That Was Unexpected 59382071 Well, That Was Unexpected Jesse Q. But it was easy to follow on its own without having read the first one. For me as an adult reader there were points where I was definitely like AUGH JUST HAVE A CONVERSATION TEEEEEENSSSS but also I do remember the agony of being a teen so...I get it. anyway this is a cute romance, great for gamer girls and also for either readers who might be curious about what school life is like in Indonesia or also for Indonesian readers.
