What a great book!
Totally loved it. A very similar vibe to The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and just as funny. A great adventure with numerous great scenes and ultimately a very satisfying ending that gives the book an enduring quality in my mind. I will definitely be reading more Robert Sheckley!
John Hodgman (unsurprisingly) was an amazing narrator for this book. I'll agree with everything I've read about his being a precursor to Douglas Adams even though Adams had never read Sheckley prior to HHGTTG publication. Great stuff.
