If you haven't read or listened to Dirty Little Secret please back away slowly, this is a review for book 2, Dirty Little Promise, it may contain spoilers for book 1 since this is the conclusion of Emma and Gavin's story.

The end of Dirty Little Secret, left Emma in a difficult spot, she'd just uncovered some information about Gavin's past. Now she must decide whether to cut her loses and move on... maybe to his brother Cooper, or face Gavin and let him explain. But they don't just have that to contend with, somebody has it out for Emma, but who and why remain a mystery. Can they get over the attraction they share and have a meaningful conversation? Or will this be the end for them?

Kendall Ryan is quickly becoming a one-click author for me. Her books are sexy and have a fun and intriguing storyline. Her writing is very quick and smart, grabbing the reader's attention and hauling them into the story. The characters are smart and sexy, and funny. This book will have you swooning, and laughing, and maybe getting a little frustrated and sad. And then you'll swoon again and get hot under the collar. I listened to this book in one sitting, I just didn't want to put it down.

Gavin Kingsley, swoon! If you liked Gavin in book 1, you're going to fall head over heels for him in this book. Not only does he start opening up, but he does some of the sweetest things ever. His love for Emma is obvious and he's prepared to do what it takes to keep her safe.
Emma Bell is one of my favourite female characters that I've read this year. She's smart and sexy, and sassy. She doesn't take any crap, even though she's been through a bunch of it, she's still not prepared to lay down and take it. I love that about her.
I felt so bad for Cooper, but it had to happen, it is Emma and Gavin's story after all. I'm looking forward to reading about Cooper's exploits in Torrid Little Affair. It was nice to see more of Quinn and I felt we got a better feel for him and how he just wants to keep his family together.

I like how this story has progressed from book 1. Gavin's secret is finally out, and this book starts with them dealing with that and I liked that Emma didn't just take it. She's was her sassy self and couldn't just fall back into a routine with Gavin, she needed time to adjust and although he struggled with it, he also gave it to her. I really think Gavin's character progressed the most throughout this story when I think back to book 1 and the way he was and then the end of this book, wow, he really did develop as a person and that was wonderful to see. Watching someone that was broken get their HEA. The sex scenes are off the scale hot, I'm talking melt your earphones type temps. They were placed well within the story and made sense to it. I liked the intrigue with this book, although I had guessed early on who was responsible for all the horrible things happening, it didn't take away from the story and it was fun watching the characters figure it out.

Megan Tusing and Zachary Webber were fantastic. I loved their dual narration of this book. Their voices complement each other really well. Each character they both performed was distinct and the inflections and tones they used to convey the emotions the characters were going through was spot on, and gave depth to the character and performance. Megan and Zachary were the perfect choice for Emma and Gavin; Megan has the best voice to convey the sweet and sassiness of Emma. And Zachary performs the commanding but vulnerable aspect of Gavin brilliantly. The production was done well with no issues.
