*2.5 STARS. Barely. The music aspect bumped it up from 2 stars.
Mini-review: Sam basically ruined this book for me. I'm not a fan of selfish, manipulative liars, even if they “wear their heart on their sleeve.” There were some redeeming qualities (Bailey's grandfather! A cute secondary love story! Super awesome music jam sessions!), but not enough. The cover is still adorable, though.
