Don't Turn Around

I was lucky to get this one at BEA (and it came in a really cool tech case). Here is the thing, this is a page-turning thriller. I am not a fan of page-turning thrillers in general, but as beach reads I highly approve. Here we have cookie cutter characters on the run from a faceless Big Brother and a world under the attack of a fictional disease that only attacks teens. So, Noa, who lives “off the grid” but really has doctored her records to appear to being living legally (which is not the same as living “off the grid”), uses her hacking skills to help another hacker do battle. Battle consists of mainly running around and hoping other hackers can help.
It is, in short, Girl With a Dragon Tattoo Jr.
Considering the success of that series, fans may find this to be a fun find. I will order it for my library and get it into the hands of my reluctant readers.
One thing that is really driving me nuts is the title. It has nothing to do with the plot, and has forced Ace of Base into my head for the past few days-and that is terrifying.
