Dragon Age: The Stolen Throne

At first it was an alright book (lowkey super homoerotic at times) but oh my god it was utter garbage later on. First of all, I LOATHE Rowan. She has no personality and constantly comes off as a prick. The romantic subplots that included her were absolutely useless and vomit inducing. Everytime she opens her mouth I have an embolism because she's so annoying. Maric is an absolute himbo and that's all I'll say. Loghain was alright at first but he started downgrading once he began simping for Rowan (he was on thin ice at this point.) I could tolerate that horrible and useless romantic subplot though, it was only when he encouraged Maric to get rid of Katriel that I was so done with him. I actually liked Katriel for some reason, even though she might be as bland as Rowan. I thought her relationship with Maric was cute and when she died I was genuinely distressed. After that the plot's cracks started to become more noticeable and it all went to shit for me. I was so mad when Maric straight up kissed Rowan while mourning his dead girlfriend because WHAT THE FUCK? The whole plot is just “w hat” because it's stupid but enjoyable enough if you don't take it too seriously. Wilhelm was my favorite character in this book though. He carried this book on his back, in fact HE OWNED IT. He was iconic, mans knew his worth so he dragged some bitches, he can get it
