Dungeons & Dragons: Legends of Baldur's Gate

Follows Delina and her quest to find her brother, who she thinks is in trouble. Nice plot twist on that rather typical plot. The plot is simple, and the characters are not too deep, but I think the focus on it being fun and goofy, made even more so by the iconic Minsc, of the Baldur's Gate PC game series fame (plus one more cameo). It even gets to use “Go for the eyes, Boo, go for the eyes!” so very appropriately. Really enjoyed it.

This was felt a little rushed and the art was nice. Kinda gives the vibe of a web comic. I was kinda hoping that it would be a little longer to expand on the world and characters. They kinda start by tossing you into the story, that would be fine if they had some stronger characters. I'm not really sure what the characters motives are? The elf's goal is to find her brother, there are rogues, and a Ranger who wants to kick evil butt and apparently he was an ancient hero of sorts? It would be good to get the elf's reaction to him, since he's mistaken her identity. Does she think he's mad or really thinks somehow he's the real deal? You can defiantly tell this is a d&d style book because they use vocab and spells often. Like when they were attacked and the guards decided to retreat because they've used their advantage, monster description of a red dragon, and whenever using a spell. I can see this being inspiring and a learning tool for beginning players and dms.

I don't know too much about Baldur's Gate in general
