Dust girl

I love, love, love this story. Callie and Jack are great characters and the world is unique and cool. I have to say, this has shades of Gaiman here-masterful storytelling, Gods walking around with humans, and a depressed setting. I love stories from the Dust Bowl anyway, but this one is filled with really fascinating details. Hotels is dead towns, dance marathons on boardwalks. I listened to the suggested music while reading because it plays such a large part in the story (almost like a character itself) and now have Midnight Special stuck in my head. I cannot wait for the next book.
