This was the best one of her books so far. I've only red A - E and this one, by far, outshines the others. A for Alibi was the worst and almost made me give up on the series. She usually throws in a few F bombs and there were a couple in this one. This one however didn't make me want to take a week long nap before picking it up again. There were a lot of twists that I didn't see coming like her ex husband coming back.

In this book she has to go look into a warehouse fire for the insurance company. She is upset because the file was supposed to be rushed but it sat one someone's desk for three days. It was also almost Christmas. She goes out to inspect the warehouse only to find she's being framed for insurance fraud and a $5,000 deposit into her account makes her look even more guilty. Now she finds herself working for herself. She has to find out what is really going on before she winds up in jail. Her usual friends are not around to help this time either. Everyone is off enjoying the holidays and for the first time she doesn't like being so independent and so totally alone.
