Elric of Melniboné and Other Stories

3.5 stars, but bumped up to 4 for the historical legacy. This was solid fantasy, with an interesting premise (our hero is already Emperor, so there is less focus on the Hero's Journey). Unfortunately I never really found myself caring for the characters, which tended to be a little two dimensional, and there was not really a clear goal for the story, so I am not drawn to the rest of the series.
